General Questions and
Answers:
Do I need and appointment to come in
and look for a wedding gown?
Appointments are never needed at the Bridal Boutique, LTD., to shop
for gowns. Appointments are only required when you are going to meet
with the seamstress for a dress fitting. Please feel free to stop by
anytime and our staff will be more than happy to help you.
What should I bring with me when I come
in?
We always suggest that you bring someone with you whose opinion you
trust. That could be your Mother, sister, or your BFF! Or all three
!! We also suggest that you bring a pair of high heel shoes with you
and a camera. Most formal wear is scaled for 5"10", so a pair of
high heels always helps with proportions. Also, we feel it's very
important that you take pictures of yourself in gowns that you like.
The pictures are very helpful when you go home and are reviewing
your day. We will also provide you with a copy of the gowns that you
tried on and liked here in the store. We do not suggest that you
bring children with you unless they are in the wedding party and are
going to be measured that day or have a fitting with the seamstress.
What if I see a gown on a company's web
site I like?
You can always call us to see if we have that specific gown in our
store. You can always bring a picture with you of something that you
like from a magazine or that you've seen on line. One of our
companies Maggie Sottero, even offers a loaner program for a gown
that you might love but we don't have in the store at the time.
Please ask your bridal consultant about the details on this program.
Do you only carry bridal gowns?
At the Bridal Boutique LTD, you can find a dress for any special
occasion. We offer a large selection of Bridesmaids and Flower Girl
dresses available in many colors and sizes. We also carry gowns for
the mother of the bride, prom, homecoming and evening wear. To
complete your look we offer a large selection of veils and tiaras.

Ordering Process:
When you have selected your perfect
gown you will be measured to determine your size by the specific
company's sizing chart. Please understand that gowns are not custom
ordered. We use the sizing chart for the specific company that your
gown is made by to determine the closest fit possible for you. Most
of the time alterations are needed after your gown arrives. (This is
also the same for the rest of the wedding party.) When measurements
are done, we require a 50% deposit of the total amount of the gown.
Please allow 14 to 16 weeks for your gown to arrive. We will call
you when your gown arrives at our store from the company. After you
are notified your gown is in the store, final payment is due. This
is the same process that we use for Bridesmaids, Flower Girls, and
Mothers. Some companies do offer rush orders at an extra cost.
Please ask your wedding consultant for specific services offered by
each company. After your order is placed we will receive the
approximate date that your gown will ship from the company. (Please
remember that this date is given to us by the manufacturer and is an
estimated ship date.)

Payment Process:
A minimum deposit of 50% of the total
cost of the gown is required before an order will be placed. This
includes bridal, bridesmaids, mothers, flower girls, prom gowns and
any other special occasion gown. If you choose to purchase a gown
that is already in our store (a floor sample), 50% of the final cost
of the gown is required at the time of purchase. We do not "hold"
gowns. When a deposit is made the gown is yours. We accepts Master
Card, Visa, Discover, cash and personal check. A personal check will
not be accepted for final payment on any gown. After you are
notified that your gown has arrived at our store final payment is
due. For your convenience, you may always do a payment over the
phone with your credit card.

Changing
Wedding Date/ Cancellation of Wedding:
If your wedding date changes just call
and let us know. If it is moved up from the original date given to
us and orders have already been placed, we will need to contact the
company. This may require us to up-grade the bridal gown or
bridesmaids gowns to a rush delivery. We will let you know if a rush
fee will be applied to the order after speaking with the company. If
the wedding date is moved back, you are free to leave the gowns here
after they arrive. You will be contacted when the gowns arrive and
final payment will be due at that time. We will be more than happy
to store your gown here until alterations are needed.
If your wedding is cancelled we will do everything we can to help
things go as easy as possible. If the orders for the bridal gown
and/or bridesmaids gowns have been placed, we cannot cancel the
orders and the companies will not take returns. You will be notified
when the gowns arrive. You may pay off the balance of your gown and
pick it up. Or you may choose to forfeit your deposit and the gown
becomes the property of the Bridal Boutique LTD. ALL SALES ARE FINAL
and there are no REFUNDS, STORE CREDIT, OR EXCHANGES. This is the
same policy for all orders placed.
If one of your bridesmaids drops out of the wedding SHE is
responsible for the balance due on her gown when it arrives. If she
wishes to forfeit her deposi,t the gown will become the property of
the Bridal Boutique LTD. Without written consent of the bridesmaid
forfeiting her deposit, the bride may not pick up the gown or have
another girl take over the balance of the gown.

Fittings With The
Seamstress:
After your gown arrives and it is paid
in full, it is time to start your alterations !! Our seamstress is
here by appointment only on Monday, Tuesday and Saturday's. Before
you call to set up your appointment you must first have your shoes
and any undergarments that you will be wearing with the gown. We
prefer to begin alterations about 2 months prior to your wedding.
Usually you have 2 or sometimes 3 fittings with our seamstress,
Mira. This will give plenty of time for your alterations and
pressing prior to your picking up the gown. Mira is an expert
seamstress and will ensure that your gown fits perfectly. The price
of your alterations is determined by the seamstress at the time of
your first fitting. You may pay for alterations at your first
fitting or when you come back for your second fitting. The
seamstress accepts cash or personal check. NO CREDIT OR DEBIT CARDS.
No personal checks will be accepted at the time of pick-up. Please
be sure to stop at the front desk on your way out to make your next
fitting appointment.
** Please note-- You and your bridal party are under no obligation
to have your alterations done through our seamstress. If you choose
to use someone else for your alterations, the Bridal Boutique LTD,
is in no way liable for any damage done to a gown by an outside
party.
